This cuts to the end of the day and the both get ready to head home when something rustles in the bushes. Victor is scared it's a monster and wants the Farmer to protect him. Instead of a monster, a cat appears. Victor recognizes Dewey, his lost cat. A second cat appears and Victor offers for both of them to come back home to live with him and the Farmer. However, Dewey decides to stay in the wild with his cat friend. Victor accepts this decision, happy Dewey is doing okay. He and the Farmer continue home.

人际关系
